I created this header animation for the McKinsey Explainer Series about five industries that may be impacted by artificial intelligence. I presented four different concepts, before landing on a simple abstract approach.
This design system centres on a modular geometric form composed of pentagons and integrated triangles. The pentagon acts as the structural anchor, formed by five tessellating triangles that collectively represent the five industries. Each triangle subtlely echoes the 'play' icon, in a reference to the explainer video format. Through synchronised rotation and adaptive colour shifts, these elements visualise the fluidity, transformation, and constant evolution in the AI landscape.
